Where to stay near Rome’s Pantheon

Erupting in circular grandeur from the city’s middle, the Pantheon cuts an impressive figure across the Roman skyline. Dating back to the reign of Hadrian, it was rebuilt for the third time and repurposed as a temple dedicated to the Roman gods. Almost 2,000 years on, it’s one of Ancient Rome’s best-preserved buildings, with a vast unreinforced concrete dome that’s still the largest of its kind in the world.
