Where to stay near Paris’s Opéra Garnier

Decorated in gold leaf, velvet and chandeliers, the Opéra Garnier is a magnificent example of Baroque architecture. This grand building was completed in 1875 and soon became famous for its opulent style – Gaston Leroux even chose it as the setting of his novel The Phantom of the Opera.

Nowadays, the Opéra Garnier is one of the most visited attractions in Paris. Whether you’re coming to see a show or just stroll down its splendid staircase, here are four apartments within walking distance of the opera doors.
