These delicious lactation cookies definitely boosts milk supply and are so delicious that you can’t just eat one!! 🙂
Well hello there Guys!!! It’s been a month since I posted last because I just gave birth to my precious baby boy, Jackson William Bell! He is such a sweetheart and I am so glad that God blessed me to be his Momma!! Born via cesarean on Wednesday, September 12th at 2:05 in the afternoon weighing 7 lbs. 12 ounces, Jackson has added so much joy to our lives already. I can honestly say that I’ve never known a love like this before. I just love him so much!!!
I’m committed to nursing Jackson for as long as possible so I want to be sure to keep up with his growing appetite. I ordered some lactation cookies from a Hawaiian company and I wasn’t that impressed so I decided to make my own. The 3 most important ingredients in lactation cookies are brewer’s yeast, flaxseed meal and oatmeal so they shouldn’t be substituted. Contrary to popular belief, BREASTMILK IS NOT AN INGREDIENT IN LACTATION COOKIES. Lol!!
HOW TO MAKE LACTATION COOKIES
These are simply the best lactation cookies in my opinion. Might I even say the BEST cookies period. They are soft and full of flavor. It’s so hard for me to just eat a couple. I just keep telling myself that I’m eating these for Jackson’s benefit as they really help me to increase my supply. Lol!!
I am so thankful to God whom makes all things possible. This journey to motherhood has made me truly trust in God’s plan and His timing. My faith in Him has soared and I am so thankful that we allowed Him to be God in our lives! “He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.” -Psalm 113:9
