False Swipe is a good utility move that leaves the target with one HP. This is especially useful when catching wild Pokemon as it heightens the chance of successfully catching it.
Competitively, False Swipe sees little to no play. Leaving your target at one HP isn’t ideal when you can simply make them faint using stronger moves. With that, we suggest simply using your Pokemon’s STAB move to deal lethal damage instead.
The False Swipe TM can be bought at a Pokemon Center at Motostoke for ₽10,000; however, it’s only available at one particular Pokemon Center in the city.
When selecting the arrival point, instead of selecting the central stadium, move the cursor to the left to the point shown on the map above.
When you arrive, enter the Pokemon Center.
Talk to the attendant on the right at the Poke Mart, who sells TMs.
Purchase the False Swipe TM.
