Patrick Mahomes’ brother, Jackson, accused of ‘forcibly’ kissing bar owner, assaulting waiter

Patrick Mahomes’ brother, Jackson, has been a polarizing figure across social media as he has tagged along by his brother and, at times, posted some downright embarrassing content on those platforms — particularly TikTok — across the internet.

But the latest headlines and chatter about Jackson aren’t simply embarrassing. They are extremely troubling.

That’s because the 22-year-old has been accused of assaulting a waiter and the owner of a restaurant in Overland Park late last month, according to The Kansas City Star.

Jackson Mahomes is accused of shoving a 19-year-old male waiter before “forcibly” kissing Aspen Vaughn, 40, the female owner of Aspen’s Restaurant and Lounge.

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” Vaughn told The Star. “And, I’m telling him, pushing him off saying, ‘What are you doing?’”

Vaughn said Mahomes then forcibly kissed her twice more.

“The last time I was pushing him off, and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door,” Vaughn told the newspaper. “And I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”

Police have been evaluating surveillance video from the restaurant, The Star said.

According to the report, Jackson Mahomes showed up at the restaurant on Feb. 25 at around 9:30 p.m.. At some point, the group went to a VIP room upstairs, and Vaughn reportedly smelled marijuana and asked them to stop smoking. Mahomes is then accused of asking to speak to Vaughn about shoving the waiter, in her office. That is when she says he grabbed and forcibly kissed her.

The Star said Vaughn said Mahomes left her with a faint bruise.

Brendan Davies, an attorney for Jackson Mahomes, denied any wrongdoing on behalf of his client.

“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the clams of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses,” he said. “We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”

Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, was the NFL MVP and the MVP of Super Bowl LVII last season.
