Nashville music venue The Listening Room opening Pigeon Forge location
Nashville music and dining venue The Listening Room will open a second location in Pigeon Forge, the company announced Friday.
Owner and operator Chris Blair has broken ground on the venue, slated to open summer 2021, at retail, restaurant and attraction development The Mountain Mile on Teaster Lane.
The nearly 10,000-square-foot venue will include a large stage, indoor and outdoor seating, full-service kitchen serving American fare and two bars. The stage will feature one or two live music performances each night.
“The Listening Room has always prided itself on spreading joy and community through live music,” Blair said in a press release. “We feel blessed by the opportunity to foster a new community in the vibrant town of Pigeon Forge, and offer our current artists, as well as future artists, a second stage to share their craft. This past year has been so difficult for the music industry, but we are really excited to support our nation’s songwriters through new opportunities.”
The venue will open with a reduced capacity, socially distanced tables and a regular sanitization schedule.
Blair founded The Listening Room in 2006 after realizing the Franklin, Tennessee, area needed a venue that supported local songwriters. It’s now located at 618 4th Ave. S., in the SoBro neighborhood of Nashville.
