Is Alex Drummond or Paige Drummond the Better Cook?

The battle is on! 😜

Ree Drummond’s daughters are clearly very close. Paige is even Alex’s maid of honor in her upcoming wedding! But that doesn’t mean they see eye-to-eye on everything in life. (Don’t worry, Ree has a foolproof plan for settling sibling squabbles.) In fact, both are on opposite ends of a very important debate at the Drummond house: Who is the better cook, Paige or Alex?

The question came up during an Instagram Live this past Christmas Eve. And wouldn’t you know it…they both think they’re the best! After The Pioneer Woman, of course.

Here’s what Alex had to say:

“Paige is better at baking, but I would like to think that I’m better at cooking. I like to make healthy recipes.”

Okay, we hear you! Now, let’s get Paige’s side of the story:

“Here’s the thing, though. Alex makes her own healthy recipes because she’s trying to ‘lose weight for the wedding.’ Which she does not need to! I just kind of cook whatever I’m craving. Cause I’m not 6’1” for no reason. I use the height to my advantage.”

Sounds like the competition is pretty neck and neck. But Paige was whipping up her mom’s famous chocolate sheet cake while recording the video, so that does give her a bit of an edge. Chocolate = life.

However, Alex has shown off her culinary skills before, too, and all of her dishes look pretty delish. Plus, they’re on the lighter side which is exactly what we’d need if we ever took our pandemic pants off.

It sounds like there’s only one way to settle this: A cook-off on The Pioneer Woman. Give the people what they want!
