There was a time when we thought we’d never see Halo get a TV series, with numerous delays and production changes hindering the completion of the sci-fi epic, that is until 2022, and for fans in the UK and Ireland who have been waiting to check out the live-action show based on the video game, you will be able to from June 22 when Halo debuts on the new Paramount+ streaming service.
Halo the TV series will follow “an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant” with the focus being on mainline protagonist Master Chief, with Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) wearing the iconic suit of Spartan-117.
The Halo franchise has spawned numerous games with memorable story arcs and characters, but the TV series will be a standalone story, rather than an adaptation or continuation of what we’ve seen in the games.
