How to Upload HD Videos to Youtube

• Go to https://www.youtube.com/verify using a web browser.
• Choose your country.
• Click the option to receive a call (call) or text message (text).
• Enter your phone number and click Submit .
• Wait for a phone call or text message.
• Enter the 6-digit verification code in YouTube’s verification page and click Submit .

• If you’re not signed in automatically, click Sign In in the upper right corner. Select your YouTube account and enter the password to log in. If you don’t see your YouTube account in the list, click Use another account and enter the email address and password associated with the YouTube account.

• You can also drag and drop the video to the center of the window.

• License and Distribution: Here you can choose between the Standard YouTube License or the Creative Commons License. You also have many other options such as Allow Embedding, Publish to Subscriptions page and notify subscribers.
• Category: Here, you can select a category for the video and enter information related to the video
• Comments and Ratings: Use the drop-down menu to choose what you want: Allow all comments, Keep potentially inappropriate comments for review, Keep Review all comments for review, or Turn off comments. You can also choose whether comments are sorted by Top or Latest.

• To return to YouTube Studio from the video tag editor, click Return to YouTube Studio in the upper-right corner.

• Public: Allows people to find and view your videos.
• Unlisted: Anyone with a link to the video can view the video.
• Private: Only the people you choose can see your videos.

• You may need to upload the video as unlisted first, as HD processing may take a few hours. Once the HD processing is complete, you can make your video public. By publishing your video as unlisted first, and then public, your viewers will only see your video’s HD resolution. ^[8]
• If the video is displayed in a lower resolution, click the gear icon in the lower right corner, click the Quality drop-down option, then select a higher resolution. Video may continue to be displayed in a lower resolution until it is completely processed.
• If the quality of the video is not as expected, it may be due to a poor Internet connection.

• Sign in if required.
