NVIDIA develops software drivers for Windows PCs that let the computer control the video card and graphics processing unit (GPU). In case if you want to install a GPU from another manufacturer or simply uninstall NVIDIA on your computer, you can do so in the Contrp Panel. We can also manually delete hidden NVIDIA folders, and also delete the entire NVIDIA folder from the Registry.

Delete NVIDIA folder

Click on the NVIDIA folder and press Delete . If you see the NVIDIA folder located in the root folder, click it and press the Delete key to delete the folder.

Delete all NVIDIA folders. Find the NVIDIA and NVIDIA Corporation folders inside the ProgramData folder and click to select. Then press the Delete key.

Delete all existing NVIDIA folders. Click on any NVIDIA and NVIDIA Corporation folders located in Program Files and press the “Delete” key. Then go back to the Windows installation drive.

Uninstall NVIDIA driver

- Click the Windows Start menu in the lower left corner.
- Enter Control Panel .
- Click Contrp Panel from the list of results that appear.

Uninstall all remaining NVIDIA components. A few additional NVIDIA components remain, including: “NVIDIA GeForce Experience”, “NVIDIA PhysX System Software”, “NVIDIA 3D Vision Contrpler”, and so on. Click on one of these components and select Uninstall/Change . Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the component. Repeat the operation for each NVIDIA component in the Programs and Features list.
