How to Trim Pubic Hair

• After trimming the hair, you pour cold water on the shaved area. Cold water tightens the pores, thereby reducing skin irritation after shaving.
• Use your hand to stretch the skin to be shaved if the area is wrinkled or not firm, so you can trim the hair easier.
• If you use a razor, rinse the blade with water after each shave. You should not hesitate, but replace the blade immediately if it is dull, pubic hair is very rough, so the knife dulls very quickly.
• If you want to keep the shaved areas longer:
  • Use a depilator to get rid of the hair at the root. Products (like Nair and Magic Powder) cause hair loss at the root. But you can also easily see that they are quite strong chemicals that can cause problems when used on sensitive skin. Therefore, you should consider only using it on the edge of the pubic area, be careful if you want to apply it directly to the genitals. You should test first on less sensitive skin to test.
  • Use wax or an epilator. You can wax yourself or use an epilator like the Epi-Lady. Both of these methods remove the hair at the root, but it can be very uncomfortable, especially if you’ve never done it before and the skin is still very sensitive.
• After waxing or using an epilator, it is thought that the hair will grow back thinner and you will gradually feel less pain with these methods.
• For permanent hair not to grow back, you should invest in electrolysis or laser hair removal. These are expensive professional hair removal procedures, often painful and require several attempts to completely remove hair, but the end result is a perfectly smooth skin.
• Coconut oil is a great moisturizer for the body, but it can clog pores easily, so overkill for pubic skin.

Do not apply alcohol to the genitals. It dries out the skin and is of no help in fighting the ‘infection’ caused by shaving. You just need to change the blade regularly to avoid infection.
