How to Start and Maintain a Successful YouTube Channel

Respond to what is being reported. Create videos that respond to popular or popular videos. There are topics that are currently being searched a lot on Youtube and Google, making a video related to those topics will increase your chances of the video being found.

• You can find the latest topics by going to Google News or Twitter’s featured topics section.

Make cute videos to be known by many people. Kittens, puppies, babies, smiling babies, children doing funny things, laughing or cuddling etc. are things that humans love to look at. Either way, there’s space for you! Find things your audience likes and consistently offer them.

• Cute videos have high share on social media, everyone loves to watch cute videos in news update. Remember to always share these types of videos on social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for opportunities to go viral.

Stick to your main idea. Once you’ve done the idea well and get results, don’t add or subtract from it too much. People who like a certain style or brand when they start subscribing to your channel, they will continue to wait for products with that same style. Of course, this doesn’t mean you can’t improve or change for the better, just don’t suddenly jump from a rebellious style to a dignified, exemplary style. (unless that’s really the idea of the channel, of course!)

Upgrading filming techniques. Using natural light is the best lighting arrangement when filming for Youtube. Successful YouTubers (who create content and post to YouTube) often use studio lights or white lights, this lighting arrangement is also good but using natural light is still best. Remember to position the lights in front of you instead of behind you. Notice the position of the shadow and make sure it doesn’t cover the focus of the video.

• Using a backdrop is also a good option. You can buy or make your own wallpaper. To buy cheap wallpaper, go to eBay or other shopping sites to find simple white backgrounds. Instead, you can shoot videos outdoors like at the beach, park, or even backyard.
• Consider buying a blue curtain to create your own video backdrop.

Buy a quality camcorder or use a smartphone. The live internet camera (webcam) cannot be used. The picture and sound quality of the webcam is very bad so you should try to buy a good camcorder. It is not necessary to invest tens of millions of dong, but you can buy a camcorder for 500 thousand dong, as long as the image and sound quality are good.

Tag the video appropriately. Choosing tags is a pretty important step in the video download process, choosing popular tags will make it harder for others to find your video. Choosing a strange but correct tag will get you more views.

• Use concise titles, descriptions, and tags. Youtube categorizes videos in order: video title, description, and tags.
• Consider what search term you’d like your video to appear under, and will use that search term in the title, description, and tag.
• Placing a tag in the description will help you get more views for your video.
• Example: If you’re posting a video about how you feel about Lil Wayne’s music career, don’t just enter the name “Lil Wayne” because there will be too many results to browse. But if you input Lil Wayne, income, music, career, and history, you’ll probably get more views; not because there are more tags but because the number of search results has shrunk considerably.

Describe your Youtube channel in the description box. On every Youtube channel, there is a frame called a description frame. Whenever people watch your channel they will see what you write there so you should provide some suggestions for future videos or introduce yourself a little bit. This is a great way to increase subscribers.

• You can also encourage people to subscribe at the end of each video.

Post regularly to maintain subscribers. If you say the next video will be posted on Friday, it must be posted on Friday. Subscribers often want you to keep your promises.

Avoid posting spam messages on other people’s accounts. This seems like a quick way to find followers, but it actually makes people afraid to interact with your account. Spam messages are comments that appear repeatedly on other people’s videos with the same message, or present something unrelated to their video.

Confidence in pessimistic situations. Youtube can be a great place, but it can also be frustrating. The best thing to do when receiving a rude comment is to delete it, block the commenter, and never reply to them. Hold your head high and don’t let anyone discourage you.
