This wikiHow teaches you how to sign in to your Apple iCloud account. You can sign in to iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer using the built-in iCloud settings. If you want to use iCloud on a Windows computer, download the iCloud for Windows program. In addition, the iCloud website can also be used to sign in on any computer.

Sign out of your current Apple ID if necessary. If iPhone is already signed in with a different iCloud account, perform the following steps before continuing.

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  • Click Sign Out .
  • Enter the account password when prompted.
  • Click OK .
  • Choose whether you want to keep iCloud sync data on iPhone.
  • Tap the Sign in to your iPhone link at the top of the Settings screen.

Install iCloud for Windows if your computer doesn’t already have it. If you haven’t downloaded and installed the iCloud for Windows program, perform the following steps before continuing:

  • Go to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204283 using a web browser on your computer.
  • Click the blue Download button.
  • Double-click the downloaded iCloudSetup.exe file.
  • Check the “I accept” box and then click Install .
  • Click Yes when prompted.
  • Click Finish when the installation is complete, then restart the computer.
