This wikiHow teaches you how to rotate a photo on Snapchat before sharing it as a Snap. Although Snapchat doesn’t have a rotate tool, you can use the built-in editing app on your device to rotate the photo’s orientation.

Click the Save button with the square icon and the down arrow at the bottom of the screen. Your photos will be saved to Snapchat Memories (Snapchat Memory).

- Tap Snaps at the top of the screen.
- Press and hold on the image until the menu appears.
- Click Export Snap .
- Click Save Image .

Click the Rotate button in the lower left corner of the screen with the square and arrow icon. Your photo will be rotated clockwise. When satisfied, click Done .

Tap Camera Rpl located directly below the word “Memories” at the top of the screen to find the photo. You will see the captured image.

Tap the circular (or house-shaped) Home key at the bottom of the screen. You will be taken back to the main screen.

Open the Photos app with the seven-color pinwheel (Android) icon in the home screen. If you can’t find the app, tap the Apps icon (or Apps, usually a circle with 6 dots inside) and open the photo gallery from there.
- If you use another app to manage and edit your photos, you can use the same app to rotate your photos.

Click on the image to open it. The photo you just took will be at the top of the list.

Click the Crop and Rotate icon. It’s the third button at the bottom of the screen with an icon of two arrows pointing in two different directions.

Rotate the photo. Tap the button at the bottom right to rotate the photo clockwise. Continue rotating until you are satisfied then press Done .
