Download iZip. The free iZip application is used to open RAR files and many other files. You will download the application in the following way:

Open the App Store
Tap Search .
Tap the App Store search bar
Type izip , then tap Search
Tap GET (Get)
Enter your Apple ID or Touch ID password.

Swipe the screen to the right. Swipe the app line at the top of the menu from the right side of the page to the left. You will see the iZip folder icon here.

Tap Copy to iZip . This is the yellow folder icon near the bottom of the application line. This will open the RAR folder in iZip.

If you don’t see this option, tap ⋯ , then tap the slider to the right of iZip and tap Done to see the selection to use.

Tap OK when asked. So the RAR file will be “unzipped” for you to access.

Download the RAR file to Android. If the RAR file is not saved on your Android’s hard drive, you need to download it to your device. Open the application that stores the RAR file (such as Gmail or Google Drive), find the RAR file, and download it.

Find the RAR file. Tap SD (SD Memory Card) or Internal , then access the folder where the RAR file is saved.

Touch and hold the RAR file. A menu will appear after about a second.

Choose where to unzip the folder. You will touch one of the following places to save the extracted file:

Storage – Extract the RAR file in the hard drive and folder of your choice on Android.
My Files – Extract the RAR file in the My Files folder on Android.
Google Drive – Extract the RAR file in the Google Drive folder.
Dropbox – Extract the RAR file in your Dropbox account. If you don’t have a Dropbox account, you’ll need to create one first.

Double-click the RAR file. The WinRAR program will automatically display.

Find the RAR file. Open Finder by clicking the blue face icon in the Mac’s Dock, then clicking the folder where the RAR file is saved in the left pane of the Finder window.

You may have to click in many other folders to find the RAR file.

Select the RAR file. Click the RAR file in the Finder window to select it.

Click File . This menu displays in the upper left corner of the screen.

Select Open With . This is the option in the File menu. Another menu will appear to the right of the currently displayed menu.

Click Unarchiver in the pop-up menu. Your RAR file will be opened with Unarchiver.

Select the extracted folder. Click a folder on the left side of the window to choose where to save the extracted RAR file.

Click Extract . This is the option in the lower right corner of the Unarchiver window. With this operation, Unarchiver will convert the RAR file into a regular folder in the place where you have selected the data. After the decompression process is complete, you can open the extracted folder like you would open a normal folder to view its contents.
