The Exfil action is an optional action but one worth taking. If you decide not to Exfil and die, you will not gain additional rewards. Using the Exfil point is much like using the Warp point. When you first arrive in a new location you will immediately be given a new objective, marked by a star icon on the map. These objectives vary and are different based on the map you’re on and the current difficulty level, as well as how far you have progressed.
