Montgomery Gator, or just Monty, is one of the main antagonists in Five Nights At Freddy’s (FNAF) Security Breach.
He is one of the four Glamrock Animatronics, and he has replaced Bonnie as a new guitarist at Freddy’s.
As he is one of your main enemies, at one point you will want to decommission Monty in order to stop him from persecuting you through the facility.
Decommissioning Monty is not technically required in order to beat the game, and if you want, you can skip this challenging battle completely.
But we advise you to decommission Monty, as it will make your playthrough much easier later plus it will unlock some hidden endings.
Here’s how to do that.
How to decommission Monty in FNAF Security Breach?
In order to decommission Monty, the first thing you will need to do is to unlock the area where this boss is located, and head to the second floor. For this, you will need to acquire the Party Pass.
Once you are in the atrium on the second floor, search for Monty’s Gator Grub, which will be quite easy to spot, just make sure that those nasty patrol robots don’t spot you, as you will not have a good time with them.
Enter Monty’s, and then go through its side door, on the right from where you entered the store, with the number “0” on them.
You will enter a long hallway and just go straight until you reach the first door on the left which you can enter. That’s the security room where you will need to collect the following items: the Security Badge, Mazercise Ticket, and Fiz Camera.
Head back to the atrium and proceed to the Daycare Center and the Superstar Theater. Once there, go below the stage of Superstar Theater, where you will find the Mazercise Control Key, but make sure to have Freddy with you. You will need to jump into him as soon as you grab the key because animatronics will spawn there to attack you.
Now when you have the key, go to the top floor of the atrium and into Mazercise, where you will use the Mazercise Control Key to complete the puzzle which will allow you to enter Monty’s Gator Golf via vents.
The moment you enter, Monty will appear, and now all that has left is to defeat him in the battle. Once the cut scene is done, quickly use one of the green cannons to fill up the Splash Bucket.
Interact with any of the cannons and fire them towards the Splash Bucket. Each has ten shots, and when you use them it will take some time for a cannon to recharge, so make sure not to miss too much. Things will not be easy though, as Monty will be chasing you and destroying the remaining cannons.
When you finally fill the bucket’s meter, go and dump Splash Bucket which will trigger the cut scene and destroy Monty!
