How to Clean Up Gmail Inbox

• If you are not signed in, enter your email address and password when prompted.

• Click Settings with the gear icon

• Click Try the new Gmail at the top of the pop-up menu.
  • If you see Go back to classic Gmail in the drop-down list, you’re using a new version of Gmail.

. This is the selection shown at the top of the page. This will automatically move the selected emails to the Trash folder.

• If you don’t delete the email in the Trash folder, the email is automatically deleted after 30 days.

• Click the Spam folder on the left side of the page.
• Click Delete all spam messages now (Delete all spam now) above the Spam folder.
• Click OK when asked.
