How to Bleach your hair to blonde

Mix bleach powder and dye cream to make a paste. Follow the instructions that came with the bleach powder, stating the amount of each product to be used. Pour bleach powder into the bowl, use a spatula or spatula to mix the dye cream with bleach powder in the correct ratio. ^[3]

• The mixture will not be yellow but will be bluish white or blue. The texture of the mixture will not be too thin nor too thick, but a little bit like a sauce.

Starting at the ends of the hair, gradually spread the mixture upwards, a few centimeters from the roots – this part of the hair will be coated with bleach last because it usually soaks in faster. To avoid overheating the roots, do not apply bleach too close to the scalp while working with the ends.

• If your hair is very dark, you need to apply the bleach mixture to the ends of your hair first, wait 20 minutes and then continue to apply to the roots.
• Keep a towel nearby to wipe away bleach from your face or arms.

Cover your hair with food wrap. Set the alarm for 15 minutes. Test your hair color by spraying a section of hair with water and wiping off the bleach with a towel. If your hair still looks dark, re-apply a bit of the bleach mixture on the area you just cleaned and let it soak for another 10 minutes.

• Bleach will make your hair warm and may sting a bit. If it stings, wash it off immediately.

Continue testing until the hair color is light enough. Check every 10 minutes until you have the desired hair color. Do not leave bleach on your hair for more than an hour. Leaving the medicine on for too long will not make the hair lighter, but it can also cause serious damage to the hair and scalp.

Rinse off bleach with cold water. Continue flushing until the water is clear. ^[4] Do not use shampoo, as shampoo will only remove oil from the hair. After rinsing, use an intensive conditioner or hair mask.

• If possible, you should avoid washing your hair with shampoo for 24-48 hours.

Wipe your hair and let it dry naturally. Avoid using a hair dryer immediately after bleaching, as this can further damage the hair. Your hair should now be blond. If you are satisfied with the results, you can stop at this step. If you want to have platinum hair, you will have to move to the hair color balance step.

Mix the toner mixture. Mix 1 part toner with 2 parts vp 20 dye cream. The mixture will be blue. Remember to wear gloves to protect your hands. ^[5]

Apply toner to your hair. Use a clean hair dye brush to apply toner to your hair section by section, similar to applying the bleach mixture. If you see a dark color at the roots, you need to pay special attention to this part.

• Some toners are for dry hair, others are for wet hair. You need to read the manual to know how to use it properly.

Leave the toner on your hair for about 30 minutes. Check the instructions on the product packaging to determine the exact retention time. Usually you need to wait about 30 minutes. ^[6]

Rinse the toner off with cold water. Rinse hair under running water until the water is clear. Use a shampoo made for bleached hair to make sure the toner is rinsed out of your hair.
