Whether you’re at home or in public and have nothing to do, there are countless different ways to dispel feelings of boredom.
Steps
Avoid boredom at home

- Turn on your console and play old games you haven’t touched in a long time. Simulation games like “Sims” are great to play on boring days because you get a different experience every time you play.

- Learn different techniques from many artists, and choose the learning method that works best for you. For example, if you want to learn how to play the guitar, you can spend time listening to new guitarists to learn their technique.
Note: Watch TV shows, movies, or plays from providers like YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Prime. Depending on the region, you may be able to watch some shows for free or sign up for a free trial. Besides, some websites like SparMovie also allow you to watch movies and TV shows for free.

- Remember to have some crafting materials ready to use next time you get bored. If you’re usually looking for something to do at home, take the time to choose craft and art materials. You don’t have to devote all your energy to a new hobby, although you absolutely can. Just try a few new activities like pottery or jewelry piercing, until you find something you enjoy to pass the time.
- If you’re interested in renovating your home or fixing something yourself, you can learn about carpentry or roof repair.

- Think about the architecture in the city. How was that building built? Who drew graffiti on the street? What techniques have been applied to create the fashion items displayed in stores?
- Call a friend you haven’t seen in a while and ask if they’d like to meet up.
- Put on your shoes and run, then drop into the coffee shop you’ve always wanted to try.
