How to Add Device to Google Play Store

When you add a device to Google Play, you can access previously purchased apps, movies, music, books, or content on the new device. You can add Android devices very easily by simply signing in with the same Google account. If you use an Amazon Fire tablet, you can choose from several alternatives to get the Play Store and access all Android apps. You cannot add iOS (iPhone, iPad) or Windows devices to Google Play.

Add Android device

Tap the Settings app on the second device. You can use the same Google account on multiple devices, allowing you to access content purchased on the Google Play Store.

You can find the Settings app in the app tray.

Tap “Accounts” . This option shows all accounts associated with Android devices.

Click “Add Account” . You’ll see a list of addable accounts.

Tap “Google”. This option allows you to add a Google account to the device.

Sign in with the same Google account. Enter the Google account information you want to associate with the device. You can use the same Google account for multiple Android devices.

Open the Google Play app store. If you have multiple accounts on the same device, you’ll be asked to select the account you want to use.

Tap the Menu button (☰) in the upper left corner. This button will bring up the Play Store menu and activate the Google account in the upper left corner.

The newly added account verification has shown. You will see the newly added account in the upper left corner of the settings menu. Tap the account in that location and select a new account if you activated the wrong account.

Access purchased content on Google Play. You can view all purchased apps associated with your account by selecting “My apps & games” in the settings menu. You can tap other media categories and select “My media ” to view purchased content.

More Kindle Fire tablets

Collect tools. To install the Google Play app store on your Kindle Fire tablet, you need a USB cable and a computer running Windows. Installing Google Play gives you access to all Android apps, including content purchased on other Android devices.

Click the Settings app on your Kindle. This is to open the Kindle settings.

Tap “Device options” . This section will show advanced options for Kindle devices.

If you haven’t done so, tap the serial number 7 times to reveal the hidden Developer Options button.

Click the button above. You will see a few advanced options.

Enable “Enable ADB”. This option allows you to connect your Kindle to your computer and manage it using the command line.

Connect Kindle to computer via USB. Windows will automatically download and install the appropriate driver to connect to the device. If everything is installed correctly, you can skip to the next step.

Download the Google USB driver from developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb.html# .
Extract the ZIP file after downloading by double clicking on it and selecting “Extract”.
Open Device Manager by pressing the ⊞ Win key and typing devmgmt.msc
Right-click “Fire” under “Universal Serial Bus contrplers” and select “Update Driver”.
Select the extracted file to update the driver.

Download the script used to install the Google Play app store. The script will automate the list of commands that you have to perform yourself. The script does not contain viruses or malware. Go to rootjunkysdl.com/files/?dir=Amazon%20Fire%205th%20gen and download the file “Amazon-Fire-5th-Gen-Install-Play-Store.zip”.

Extract the ZIP file. Double click on the ZIP file and click “Extract All”. This selection will create a new folder in the Downloads folder to store the file you need.

Open the new folder and run the script. Open the folder you just created when extracting the command file. Double click on the file “1-Install-Play-Store.bat”. The Command Prompt window will appear.

ADB licensing on Fire tablets. After starting the script on your computer, you will be asked to authorize ADB on your Fire tablet. You need to unlock the device to approve this request.

Start the installer on the computer. Press 2 in the Command Prompt window to install the Google Play app store and Google Play Services.

Restart the Fire tablet when prompted. Once the installation is complete, a window will guide you on how to restart your Fire tablet. Hold the power button on the tablet and press the “OK” key to confirm. Turn the device back on after it has been completely powered off for a while.

Start Google Play app store after reboot. At this point, you will be asked to log in.

Sign in with your Google account. Sign in with the same Google account you use Gmail or on other Android devices.

Wait for the app store to update. The Google Play App Store and Google Play Services will update in the background, which can take 10-15 minutes. You won’t notice the change until you exit the app store and reopen it.

If asked to update Google Play Services, choose to agree. You will be taken to the Google Play Services store page. Click “Update” to proceed with the update.

You cannot add Google Play to a Windows or iOS device.
