That quintuple threat Paula Abdul has been spied looking enviously youthful at a charity event held by veteran actress Goldie Hawn for The Hawn Foundation.

The philanthropic bash took place at Ron Burkle’s Green Acres Estate in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California.

Goldie set up The Hawn Foundation to help children across the world access education.

Paula attended Goldie’s event just after giving an inspirational speech at the annual Lois Linden Nelson Woman’s World Event in Michigan.

She credited her own positive, grateful attitude for helping her through the bad times.

As reported by the Detroit Free Press , Paula went on to tell her audience: “I’m very grateful for my family for instilling the gift of gratitude.

“They taught me to be grateful for the smallest things to the largest, to be grateful for the let downs and disappointments, as equal to the thrill of succeeding.

“That has always been with me.”

Paula also told her audience intimate details about her struggles.

She spoke candidly about her longtime issues with body image and eating disorders.

She has also been diagnosed with reflex sympathetic dystrophy, chronic upper extremity pain that can from injury or surgery.

Paula went on to say that she always tried to think outside the box, as her flowering career took her from head choreographer for the Los Angeles Laker Girls, to choreographing for movies, music videos and The Tracey Ullman Show’.

After that, she went solo, going on to record her own albums. Her debut album, Forever Your Girl, came out in 1988, and it spawned four Number One singles, the most famous being Opposites Attract.

Becoming a judge on American Idol in 2002 has just been the cherry on top of a glittering career.
