For those that took Mucinex and got BFP’s

Which cycle days did you take the Mucinex? I’ve read conflicting things when I googled. Just wanted to get some thoughts. I’m currently on CD 4 and just got some to try this cycle.

I’ve never heard of this? Why would you take Mucinex while TTC?

I took mucinex this cycle but I don’t think I’m pregnant. I was taking it because I had a cold when I got pregnant with my daughter two years ago.

I used it for both my cycles that i got pregnant. The kind with Guaifenesin as only ingredient. I took it CD 11-15. I ovulated CD 15. I noticed a difference in cm for sure. I charted bbt and was on clomid. I had a follicle ultrasound on day 12 so i knew I was probably going to ovulate around CD 15.

yes, that’s the kind I bought. I ovulate like clockwork so I can definitely take it CD 11-15. Thank you!!

I took it this cycle and it pushed my ovulation back over a week! Only thing different I’ve done this month. Before that my cycles were clock work for 8 months straight

I took it day 10-15 (ovulated day 15) and got my BFP the first month I used it after 3 unsuccessful months. If you know when you will ovulate take it 4-5 days before and o day

did you also take it twice a day? I’m seeing where some do. Just curious. Congrats on your BFP!

thanks! I only took it once per day but I found out after I took at that some people do twice a day.

I took it both cycles that I got pregnant. I started taking it 5 days before I was expected to ovulate then continued until I got my positive opk.
