Battlefront II Mod Loader

With this mod loader you will be able to have more than 500 missions. You are able to load only a part of your mod collection which needs less than 500 missions. So the mission limit is still active, but you can easily switch between your mods.

1. Download the executable

2. Put the application into your gamedata folder

3. Launch the mod loader.

4. (Optional) Rename your mods.

5. (Optional) Add launch paramters under settings. If you use the steam version set them with steam.

This is such a Battlefront II essential. However, one thing that has always bothered me is that you wouldn’t be able to save “profiles” for your preferred mods. Like for example, you want to have certain mods activated but when you want to switch to a different combination of mods all you have to do is switch profiles. I do believe mod managers such as the ones from Total War and the Arma 3 Launcher apply this concept. Instead you have to manually activated each compatible mod (confusing since they’re all just three letters) for each playthrough. Too bad the author for this mod loader seems to be done with this project.

Alright. Say I have mods that replace vanilla files, like Improved Sides 2. Can I use this so that I don’t have to switch stuff back and forth from back-up, or is this ONLY for addon content?

This needs a lot more features. It needs names for all possible 3 letter map. Also a mission checker on display. But anyways good job!

Is there a way to make it so when you launch it through steam it opens up the mod loader instead of going straight into the game?

Add Non-Steam Game to library, select this mod’s exe file.

When I disable Mass Effect Unification, I can still hear it’s soundtrack in clean, unmodded main menu. Is there a way to completely disable this mod ?

Not sure if this question was asked already but is it possible to have a windowed mode option in the future?

Im able to load into the mods but when i click on a map it doesn’t show era’s or modes. I wanted to know if this was because if the loader or the mods.

Sounds like you need to install the unofficial r130 v1.3 patch ( Moddb.com ).
