A large number of our students plan to take Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations this spring. I thought it would be valuable for all stakeholders to see that there is a much greater payback in terms of what college credit can be earned by passing scores on the AP exams. The credit(s) earned vary, depending on the college/university. Based on their performance on rigorous AP examinations, students can earn credit, advanced placement, or both, for college. 35 AP courses in a wide variety of subject areas are currently available.
