Access the Admin Page using Wi-Fi
- Connect to the Mobile HotSpot via Wi-Fi.
- Launch an available web browser on your connected device and go to http://mobile.hotspot/. You may also enter 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar to access the admin page.
- Enter the Admin Page administrator password. The default administrator password is admin.
- Click the Save Password checkbox if you want to skip the login screen in the future.
- Click Login.
- You arrive at the Admin Page.
Access the Admin Page using USB
- With the device turned off, connect the hotspot device to a PC with the included USB cable.
- Turn on the device.
- The OS detects and recognizes new hardware and finishes the installation automatically. After successful installation, the icon will appear on your desktop. If the system does not launch installation automatically, you can run the installation program in path of (My) Computer > Mobile Hotspot > choose folder based on your OS > Run set-up.exe.
- Double click the icon to open the Admin Page login screen. If you ran the set-up.exe file, the web page interface should automatically pop up.
- Enter the Admin Page administrator password. The default administrator password is admin.
- Click the Save Password checkbox if you want to skip the login screen in the future.
- Click Login.
Change the admin password
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device Settings.
- Under the Account Management heading, enter a new password into the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.
- Click Apply.
Change the network name (SSID)
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Wi-Fi Settings.
- Under the SSID heading, change the name that appears in the Network Name (SSID) field.
- For Broadcast Network Name you may select enable or disable for broadcasting the hotspot’s Network Name (SSID).
- Click Apply to save your changes.
Change the network password
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Wi-Fi Settings.
- Enter a new password in the Password field.
- Click Apply to save your changes.
Look up the mobile number
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Information tab.
- View the Phone Number.

Battery saving mode
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device settings.
- Under the Wi-Fi Performance Settings heading, select one of the following for Wi-Fi Performance:
- High performance (Longer Wi-Fi range but shorter battery life)
- Economy mode (Shorter Wi-Fi range but longer battery life)
- Click Apply.
Tips to save battery life
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device Settings.
- Under the Wi-Fi Sleep Settings heading, choose one of the following for Sleep Time:
Note: Shorter durations will increase battery life while Wi-Fi is not in use.- After 10 minutes idle
- After 15 minutes idle
- After 20 minutes idle
- After 30 minutes idle
- After 60 minutes idle
- Never go to Standby
- Open the SIM door.
- Insert or remove the SIM card. When inserting, the notched end goes first, with the gold contacts facing the front (black side) of the device until it clicks into place.
- Close the SIM door.
Connections & Network
APN & data settings
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Network Settings.
- Under the ‘APN’ heading, confirm the information entered is correct.
- To correct APN information, click Manual.
- Click Add New.
- Enter the following information:
- Profile Name: T-Mobile
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com
- Click Apply.
Manual network selection
The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click Disconnect.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Network Settings.
- Under the ‘Network Selection’ heading, click Manual.
- Click Search.
- Select the network to connect.
- Click Apply.
Turn on / off data roaming
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click Disconnect.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Network Settings.
- Under the ‘WAN Connection Mode Settings’ heading, check or uncheck Check here, to connect to the internet in roaming status to turn data roaming on/off.
- Click Apply.

Default SSID and password
- If the screen on the mobile hotspot is blank, tap the WPS button to wake it up.
- Double-tap the WPS button on the device.
- Read the SSID and Password displayed on the screen. The SSID and Password displayed on the screen will always be correct, even if they have been changed from the defaults.
Scan & connect
- Turn on the mobile hotspot.
- On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi Networks and select the Network Name (SSID) for your Mobile HotSpot.
- Enter the network password. It may take up to a minute to establish a connection.
Turn on / off
- Press and hold the WPS button it for less than 3 seconds then release.>
- The device will show Connecting/Disconnecting.
- It will then show Connected (no X over transfer arrows), or Disconnected (X over transfer arrows).
Email & Messaging
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the SMS tab.
- Click New.
- Enter the contact phone number.
- Enter the message text.
- Click Send.
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the SMS tab.
- Click the check box next to the message you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
Security
Change password / PIN
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device Settings.
- Under the PIN Management heading, click Change PIN.
Turn on / off
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device Settings.
- Click the radio dial to enable or disable the PIN.
- Determine if your device is eligible to be unlocked: Unlock your mobile wireless device.
- Contact Customer Care to request the Mobile Device Unlock code for your phone.
- Insert the non-T-Mobile SIM and turn on the device.
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- On the Home page, click Unlock Device.
- Enter the unlock code and click OK.

Auto-update time (NITZ)
The default setting for your device is to automatically update the time zone. To set the device clock to automatically update based on what time zone it is in, follow these steps:
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device Settings.
- Scroll to ‘SNTP’ and set Time Set Mode to Sntp auto Synchronization.
- Click Apply.
Set time & date
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device Settings.
- Under the SNTP heading, set Time Set Mode to Manual Set Time.
- Enter the following:
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Hour
- Minute.
- Click Apply.
Software Updates & Backup
A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card.
- Access the mobile hotspot Admin Page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click Device Settings
- Under the Reset Factory Settings heading, click Reset.
- To confirm the master reset is complete, the SSID name and Password will be reset to default settings.
Master reset with hardware keys
A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card. If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can master reset using hardware keys.
- Open the SIM card door.
- Insert a small object like a pin into the reset hole and hold it for three seconds to reset the device.
- To confirm the master reset is complete, the SSID name and Password will be reset to default settings.
Your device automatically updates to the latest version. No additional action is required.
