A popular BJP leader and actress from Hisar, Haryana, Sonali Phogat, died due to heart attack in Goa. The reports claim that when on August 23 she was bought to St. Anthony Hospital, North Goa she was declared dead.
Phogat’s family members arrived in Goa on the night of August 23 and her brother Mr. Dhaka filed a formal complaint, claiming that she was murdered by two of her associates.
Mr. Dhaka told the reporters outside the Anjuna police station that they had asked her to stay away from the associates and return to the Hisar the next day.
He claimed that the police had refused to register FIR against the two persons.
Phogat’s family members would prefer the postmortem to be counducted at AIIMS Delhi or Jaipur. As per them, since she was a BJP leader from past 15 years they will appeal to the Prime Minister to help them in getting justice for her.

Mr. Rijiju had informed the Lok Sabha that the Ministry had received a proposal from the Chief Justice of India for setting up of National Judicial infrastructure authority India (NJAI) for arrangement of adequate infrastructure for courts. As per the proposal, NJAI was to act as a Central body in laying down the road map for planning, creation, development, maintenance and management of functional infrastructure for the Court system in India.
