Nissan and Faze Clan $100,000 Fortnite Pro-Am Invitational

On November 4th Automaker Nissan and North American esports organization Faze Clan will be teaming up for the Nissan FaZe Clan Pro-Am Invitational. This entertaining format will feature celebrities, Fortnite professionals, and content creators from the Manchester City Football Club, FaZe Clan, and the broader Fortnite community.

Some of the teams have already been announced with others yet to be formed. Professional Team Solo MId player Sardar “Ops” Ghafoor tweeted that he will be teaming up with Manchester City Fortnite Pro Aidan “Threats” Mong and Manchester City Pro Football right-back Kyle Walker. Other notable professional Fortnite players include Benjy “Benjyfishy” David Fish, Nathan Anthony “Nate” Hill, and Timothy “Bizzle” Miller.

Trios will compete in a custom Creative Mode Zone Wars tournament. To make the fight a bit fairer, the celebrities will be given double-hp and legendary weapons. The event will raise money for charity and provide teams the opportunity to compete for a $100,000 prize pool, with half of the earnings going to charity.

The announcement includes the following format:

• Swiss Trio Zone Tourney
• Game Mode: Trio Zone Wars
• Rounds in game: First to 5, Grand Finals First to 7
• Group Stage: Swiss, 4 Teams advance
• Playoffs: Standard Single Elimination Bracket, 4 teams
• Twist: Pros start with normal level (blue) gear, very limited heals, and 200hp. Celebrities start each round with 400 hp, legendary (orange) weapons, and strong heal items.

Fans will be able to participate in giveaways and prizes by Manchester City F.C. and FaZe Clan throughout the event. All viewers with a Twitch account, a YouTube account, or a Discord account who enter a specific keyword within a specific time frame in the Twitch, YouTube, or Discord chat are eligible.

Viewers are eligible to enter 3 times. Once by entering the keyword in Twitch chat, once by entering the keyword in YouTube chat & once by entering the keyword in The FaZe Hub Discord Server. Each winner will receive Manchester City F.C. and FaZe Clan merchandise or cash vouchers to FaZeClan.com or other products and merchandise.
