There are many contradictions in the Book of Mormon, one being in 2 Nephi, chapter 24, in regards to Isaiah, chapter 14. Joseph Smith not only copied the chapter but changed it also. We learn about evil kings that are cast down to the earth like unto the people they had killed. Lucifer is mentioned and how he was cast out of heaven and to the earth. That by way of Satan these kings were lifted up in their own glory. The kings were then slain along with the people they had killed. It was their raiment or clothing that was left behind with their carcasses. This word, “raiment” is important to remember since Joseph Smith took this verse and replaced it with “remnant“. Doing this changed the whole story of what happened with the kings. We will talk about this later. As for Isaiah, it reads, “all the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.” (Isaiah 14:18-20)
Now, let us see what the Book of Mormon passage reads with the plagiarized copy of Isaiah, chapter 14. It reads, “all the kings of the nations, yea, all of them, lie in glory, every one of them in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and the remnant of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land and slain thy people; the seed of evil-doers shall never be renowned.” (2 Nephi 24:18-20) As you can see here, “raiment” was replaced with “remnant“. Raiment means the clothing that people wore before being killed. Whereas, remnant means a small group of people. So instead of speaking of all those that died and seeing their clothing left over, we learn about a small group of individuals that died. Remnant means a small remaining group of people. So there we have it. What are Mormons going to believe now? They cannot believe what Isaiah, chapter 14 reads, and also 2 Nephi, chapter 24. They speak two different things. And now you have heard the truth. Joseph Smith purposely changed the Bible and is also a liar and a false prophet. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, open the eyes of every blind Mormon out there. They may think they can see right now, but in reality, they are seeing through a man’s own eyes and not Yours, God. And although they are blind and are unable to see the truth because of their false prophets, You can still do a mighty miracle in their lives. I know that You are stronger than any one person on this earth. People can say that have performed miracles in this cult, but because You are not for it, then I know what spirit this is. Surely, Satan has done miracles like unto You, God. These people are not led through Your power but through the devil’s power. Now, if anybody is reading this prayer that is a Mormon I rebuke the evil spirits in them now. In Your Name, Jesus, give them freedom. Come ye people and to the feet of Jesus. Lord, You are mighty to accept them and to redeem them through Your blood. Cover them through Your blood that was shed for us on the cross. I trust in You, Jesus. You are my God and my righteous king. You deserve the glory and the praise. I love You, Lord. Have Your way in me. I will go forth and do Your will as it is in heaven. Thank You for the time I had talking to a Mormon at her door today. May these seeds sprout. In Your Name, I pray, Jesus. Amen.
