Re: “Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2” Official Discussion Thread
So I’ve been playing the game a little bit every day since I got it (only a bit due to work, and stuff I had to get done today as well), and I’m already Lv. 40 before even getting to the Freeza fights – is it just me, or is leveling a heck of a lot easier to do in this game, especially when you make it a point to stop story progression every so often and do other stuff around the hub world?
Also already have enough points in my ki area to go SS3 right after unlocking SS, so that’s pretty neat too.

I do feel like leveling is easier. I barely had to grind compared to XV1 where I was constantly grinding. I’m at the level cap now, so any problems I may have in the future in terms of remaining PQs are things I’d probably need specific outfit items for.

Not only that but at level 31 you start getting more than 3 points per level up all the way to level 61. I believe it caps at 8 points per level.Gyt Kaliba wrote:So I’ve been playing the game a little bit every day since I got it (only a bit due to work, and stuff I had to get done today as well), and I’m already Lv. 40 before even getting to the Freeza fights – is it just me, or is leveling a heck of a lot easier to do in this game, especially when you make it a point to stop story progression every so often and do other stuff around the hub world?

Edit: I just noticed a bar that fills up next to any potential mentor you have, similar to the bar in Xenoverse 1 that dictated how far you could get into their training. This time though, the bar one one of them (okay, it’s Kuririn, you caught me) is barely even half full, but…I’ve long since completed his training. And even had him pop in to help me once earlier on in the game.
So what happens when you fill up that bar?

It is, I have reached level 80 after some 10 hours of playtime. In Xenoverse 1, it took me like 2 years to get to 96 and that was mostly because of Old Kaioshin training and special events with extra exp points.Gyt Kaliba wrote:So I’ve been playing the game a little bit every day since I got it (only a bit due to work, and stuff I had to get done today as well), and I’m already Lv. 40 before even getting to the Freeza fights – is it just me, or is leveling a heck of a lot easier to do in this game, especially when you make it a point to stop story progression every so often and do other stuff around the hub world?

Filling up the progression bar for a specific mentor will earn you “Marks” that you can equip to your CaC and show off to other players in PvP who you’ve fully maxed out with in terms of your favorite mentors. The marks begin at bronze and end with gold when the progress bar of your mentor is at max.Gyt Kaliba wrote: I just noticed a bar that fills up next to any potential mentor you have, similar to the bar in Xenoverse 1 that dictated how far you could get into their training. Huh, that’s pretty neat. Not super useful (since I won’t be able to play online, not getting Sony’s paid online thing), but still neat. I’ll have to try and unlock the images just cuz eventually.

Not useful at all to me, as I’m still unable to play this game online, it’s so frustrating.

So this is happening/already started apparently.
Time Patrollers,
test your skills in this week’s special event! From November 13th (00:00 UK / 01:00 CET) to November 20th (00:00 UK / 01:00 CET), get double rewards and the top Time Patrollers can also win TP medals, exclusive titles and Hercule’s Badges!
How do you participate?
You can challenge other players in Conton City or fight in Unlimited Battle Ranked Matches to increase your Time Patrol Rank!
What are the rewards?
All players will receive an Energy Capsule M!
The best 500 players will win:
MVP (1st place): the “Unbeatable” Title, the “Lord” Title, 10 TP medals, 2 Hercule’s Badges (Super Rare)
2 – 7 place: 10 TP medals, 2 Hercule’s Badges (Super Rare), the “Lord” Title
8 – 25 place: 7 TP Medals, 2 Hercule’s Badges (Uncommon)
26 – 50 place: 5 TP Medals, 2 Hercule’s Badges (Common)
51 – 200 place: 3 TP Medals
201 – 500 place: 1 TP Medal
May the best Time Patrollers win!
Why do Bamco think 10 TP medals is such a good reward… you get more in 2 minutes delivering milk…. same goes for Hercule Badges currency means almost nothing in this game.

Re: “Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2” Official Discussion Thread
So after discovering that I can just buy a shitton of water and get Boo’s kids to pop out that way, quick question – is there any way to stop them from transforming after a bit? I think I’d rather they all stay yellow once I get them there so that they’ll bring me outfit pieces.

Cool, thanks!
Also, now that I’ve gotten that taken care of, I now have all five Distorted Eggs, so I can focus on the story, Parallel Quests, and mentors and ignore the Time Rift stuff unless I want to go do them again (screw you Guru’s house, protect yourself for once! @_@), woohoo!

Guru’s House and Mr Satan’s missions are endless. Once you get what want, you can stop right away because they have no freaking end. I’ve been on a loop for quite some time.
