During boarding the sections being called were only on a PA covering the line area, not the entire gate causing me to miss my zone & not general “we will be boarding in x mins” announcement. Flight attendants seemed to not want to be there.”

On the trip out it we were diverted by weather. on return trip we never knew what the issue was. Woulda been nice for the hate people to let us know the reason. Free tv had persistent DRM issues so I wasn’t able to see some choices. Signal is was spotty.”

The flight attendant caused meyham by asking everyone to hurry off the plane to catch a train we had no chance of catching anyway. A MESS! The flight crew also never mentioned why we were so late…just that the flight was on the way from Kansas City.”

Are there any compensation that we are entitled to?”

The ladies in the back were really rude”

In flight they are professional and personable and keep you up to date on what you need to know! Plus, I’m always happy when my flights have USB ports so I’m fully charged when I deplane.”

I was looking to bring up a GPs trackers or some kind of map application so i knew where i was flying over. I couldn’t gain any access to any type of application due to GPS restrictions. Used Kayak and delt never had this issue. Email not changed or misspelled.”

Cons: “I was unable to check in online without a delta confirmation number and I had booked through west jet. The flight was delayed 40 min so I arrived later and I was removed from the flight. I got through security and customs with plenty of time and managed to get back on the flight. It was all around just annoying.”

Pros: “The service. The plane (seemed like an international plane). Food options. The service and the service. There was a problem getting on, they allowed premium members to board but when I got to the plane, I was scolded by the cleaning crew lady (maybe the Mgr) that they were not ready and that she had informed ‘them’ of that and that no one is allowed to board while they are cleaning.”

Cons: “Sun Country is the worst ever. The flight was delayed, then canceled, no answer, no manager giving directions, they just gave a number to call and they had 90 minutes of delay to give an answer. 10 hours in the airport for a flight of 3 hours, and they didn’t give us even a glass of water. I definitely do not recommend Sun Country and I will never ever again buy a ticket with them.”

Pros: “Nothing- and it cost me $50 to have voucher issued for future flight.”

Cons: “Monitors with Sun Country gate information very difficult to find, if at all. I asked several people about Sun Country and departure gate, and was pointed in several WRONG directions. Since next flight out was 9p, I decided to cancel my trip. I did investigate taking same flight tomorrow, Jul 13, and was told it was full and I would be standby.”

Cons: “Some of the seats have no cushion effect.”

Cons: “Two hour delay. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, it basically felt like 1” of cotton on plywood, the back support kept popping in and out. The staff not pleasant, as in zero smiling, no welcoming on board and they were short with other passengers. It’s unbelievable that snacks are extra when every other airline offers complimentary peanuts/pretzels/cookies. I had to spend $30 extra for my fiancée to sit next to each other, even though we purchased tickets together. As a Minnesota born resident, who now lives out east, this was such a disappointment. I will not fly with again.”

Pros: “By getting an exit row seat, I was able to board early on”

Cons: “I wasn’t told that the exit row seat would not recline until I got on the plane. My last trip on Sun Country, none of the seats reclined as far as I can tell. I’m generally very tired by the time I get on a flight, and not being able to recline at all makes for a very uncomfortable flight.”

Pros: “Wasn’t notified of a Flight Change. Stranded. Sun Country could do Nothing for me. They blamed Kayak for not notifying me of a flight change. They gave me no options but to cancel my flight or fly an entire day later. Had to spend over $600 for a one way with another airline!!!!”

Pros: “Flight crew was very friendly and helpful. Staff at check in was very helpful in arranging wheel chair for my wife and arranging for us to sit together. Much appreciated!”

Pros: “The staff did their best to reschedule everyone and dealt with a very angry group with professionalism”

Cons: “Spending 10 hours in the airport waiting for a rescheduled flight is never fun, especially when I could’ve spent more time with my mom instead of rushing to a flight that clearly wasn’t going to happen.”

Pros: “Boarding was easy / I didn’t bring a carry on so I wouldn’t be charged but i had a big personal item and was a bit worried but no one gave me any trouble. Attendants were very nice when I wanted more than 1 cup of coffee. Boarding let you sit right there before you got on the flight / seats were right next to the gate. Also booked totally last minute and had a window on first leg, and an aisle on second.”

Cons: “Very short on legroom, but that’s every airline ( l’m 6 – 4) flight crew friendly, tried a bit of humor. I like convenience of Humphrey (#2) terminal in MSP.”

Cons: “No free entertainment. Not providing anything special that would distinguish it from the major carriers. For exampls Southwest and Jetblue provide free snacks and movies.”

Pros: “The flight was booked solid but I was able to get an exit seat for leg room. The flight left on time & arrived early. All around, no complaints!”

Pros: “The crew was AMAZING! Everyone from the staff that helped check me in and check in the luggage, to the gate agents, to the wonderful flight attendants. And the pilots getting us there safe, too, of course! A great team and a wonderful experience for a first time Sun Country flier. Thank you for the wonderful experience!”

Cons: “The way the mechanical delay of a broken windshield wiper was poorly communicated, the 4 hour delay before even ordering the part (confirmed to me by a family member working for the airport) and total delay of 15 hours for the flight proves to me that Sun country is unreliable and will never receive my business again”

Cons: “Trying to select seating from a mobile was frustrating and took a lot of time, had to pay an extra $15 because no seats were available by the time the mobile site allowed me to pick a seat.”

Cons: “Sun country did a pretty terrible job of delaying my flight. Instead of delaying it all at once, they pushed it back gradually, a total of 7 or so times, until 16 hours later we finally took off. On top of that, they blamed the weather, yet flights were taking off and landing all around us. The fault was clearly with our particualr aircraft or Sun Country management – or both. As compensation, we received a $200 voicher to fly with Sun Country again. I will likely not even use it.”

Pros: “I am still at the airport, the flight that was supposed to leave 3 hrs ago has been delayed for repair. I am happy they are trying g.to be safe but this is a huge inconvenience. The airline thus far has offered a glass of water to its passengers and that was before we had to exit the airplane. How nice”

Pros: “The price of the flight! My luggage got to my destination. Liked flying out of the Humphrey Airport in MPLS.”

Cons: “It was delayed about an hour on the way there and about 2 hours on the way home. Sat on the plane & tarmac both ways for along time. Hate having to pay for my luggage both ways.”

Pros: “That i did arrive safely”

Cons: “Staff was kinda rude, seem unfriendly didn’t want to ring bell for service because I didn’t want to deal with rude behavior. Also the business class gets treated like royal, coach we couldn’t even receive peanut’s, unless you buy it. I spend over 20 extra dollars on food on your plane. I also had to purchase a monitor to watch a movie. I think you flight has poor class.”

Cons: “I couldn’t select seats or check in online. I had to call and found out their site is not compatible with Apple computers or devices. That is rediculous.”

Cons: “2.5 hour delay in which we were on the plane sitting on the runway. The crew was getting snappish at some people.”

Pros: “We overall had really good service, our flight was comfortable, and the people are very friendly.”

Cons: “I paid $15 for a premium seat and it was no different from the normal seats, it was just further forward on the aircraft.”

Pros: “The woman who checked me in was kind and gave me a better seat without prompting-which I appreciated. Too bad it didn’t make much of a difference in the end, since I was stuck in that seat for an extra hour waiting to take off….”

Cons: “Boarding always takes such a long long time. Why does it take so much longer than any other airline? Ended up leaving over an hour and a half late. Absolutely unacceptable. Sun Country planes are so so cramped. Hardly even enough room to walk up the aisle. Was a truly miserable flight and overall experience. Yuck. Definitely avoiding Sun Country in the future – even if the fare is least expensive, it’s not worth it.”

Cons: “Food and entertainment you had to pay for it when in othet airlines food and entertainment is already included. Also, as far as carrying- on luggage and additional luggage your policies are confusing.”

Pros: “Flights were on time. Attendants were helpful. Seats were comfortable enough. No entertainment system or free pretzel’s or nuts – But for the price I think that’s totally fine. I bring my own snacks and Kindle anyway. Would definitely fly again.”

Cons: “Purchased the flight ticket for my friend (used Kayak and was redirected) received confirmation email. When my friend show up at the airport counter HE COULDNT BOARD! Ticket wasn’t paid by that company to airline ! And I was not notified (call or email whould be nice) So he was ending up buying last minute ticket at the counter at the double cost!!!!”

Cons: “Old plane, no power or Wifi”

Cons: “Flight was purchased 8/2016 but never ticketed and subsequently cancelled by the airline. I was never informed until I tried to check in online. I was then told the only thing I could do was to purchase a $1045 first class ticket or buy a one-way with a different airline. Customer service was not very helpful for me or for the airline’s business.”

Pros: “All of the staff were very polite and boarding went very smoothly. Beverage service was excellent and the staff was helpful when people were asking questions. The pilot clearly communicated with everyone, he over hammed up the Minnesota accent but it was a bit funny. I enjoy flying Sun Country due to the friendliness of the staff over other, larger, airlines.”

Cons: “There was a family of 7 with 5 children, one of the boys was quite loud and was up and down the length of the plane, yelling because he needed a coke and to go to the bathroom. Not much was really done to attempt to suggest to keep him quiet and seated, so I was unimpressed with the staff in that aspect, as it is truly unsafe for him to be running around if we hit a patch of random turbulance he could fall and get hurt. Then, there was a group of teenage boys sitting directly behind me who kept changing seats and shifting around. Which, changing seats is fine but it was constant for the first half of the flight. I do not expect my flights to be silent but I do expect them to not be as “eventful” as this one.”

Pros: “The staff helped get a full flight underway in a timely fashion without being rushed.”

Cons: “Checking in was smooth however the loading was not organized.”

Cons: “the space was minimum and the flight attendants were not responsive to my questions.”

Cons: “A broke down plane, a 12+ hour delay, dinner vouchers given 10 minutes before departure, a $300 voucher promised at JFK but unfulfilled in MSP…what else can I say, the day was spent trolling the halls of Terminal 4.”

Pros: “Sun Country employees were pleasant and helpful from the check-in desk to the flight crew.”

Pros: “This really is a tight little operation. I was impressed by their timeliness and efficiency.”

Cons: “There was no “in seat” entertainment; however, they provide a rentable unit with preloaded movies and TV shows.”

Pros: “The crew as friendly and amenable. Beverage service was fine but snacks had to be purchased.”

Cons: “The leg room in the flight was terrible. The preferred seats were no different from the non-preferred, but cost $15 more just to be in rows 1-10”

Cons: “You don’t get a snack or anything, there is not even radio to entertain you while flying and if you want a tv it’s extra and not offered until later in the flight when it’s not even worth it. Also there is only one bathroom in the back, the front is for the three rows of first class. I was in row 4 which was not convenient.”

Cons: “Descending was a bit bumpy. Seats are very close together with very little room for comfort. Aisle is very tight.”
