Use Animated Gifs in email marketing
Animated GIFs simulate video so that you can see scrolling features,
products in different colors or blinking calls to action without having to
leave your inbox to visit a website. Animated GIF images can be inserted into
your email like any normal image. More importantly though, they’re compatible
with most email clients – see table below – so there’s a better chance your
subscribers will see the animation.

Outlook support for animated gifs

browser. Also, make sure the first image frame is acceptable as an
alternative to the animation. You can add such an
images with a delay of 0.1 seconds using the Animated Gif Editor. Support for gif animations
was better in older versions of Outlook (2000, 2003).
