Who is leaving 911 (2022): Is anyone leaving 911 this season?

Who is leaving 911 (2022): Is anyone leaving 911 this season?

911 Season 6 has just begun. It seems like there’s always someone leaving or potentially leaving the series. What’s happening in the 2022–2023 season?

Every season, we seem to say goodbye to characters. Sometimes, those goodbyes are a little more permanent than others. It leads to us worrying about losing characters at some point in 911 Season 6.

The season has only just begun. So far, things are looking good. Well, that was until the promo trailer for the rest of the season.

Is Maddie leaving 911?

Let’s start with Maddie. During Season 5, Maddie just suddenly up and left. She was gone for six months, and that was written in for Jennifer Love Hewitt’s maternity leave. The storyline went that Maddie was suffering from postpartum depression. When her daughter almost drowned in the tub, Maddie panicked and ran away.

Chimney did eventually find her. However, things weren’t smooth sailing for them. In the 911 Season 6 premiere, Maddie and Chimney were living apart and co-parenting well. However, it was clear they both wanted to be together, and Maddie made it clear to Chimney that she wasn’t running away again. She was here to stay.

That’s great. So Maddie isn’t leaving. We can assume Chimney isn’t going anywhere either. What about the rest?

Is Eddie leaving 911?

Another character we worried about in 911 Season 5 was Eddie. During the winter finale, things with his panic attacks came to a head. He chose to leave the 118 and went behind the desk for the rest of the season.

That was until his dad needed medical attention. Eddie realized that his place was with the 118, and he eventually went back. The sixth season picked up with him back with the team, and he does look a lot happier. We’ll see where that goes, but it doesn’t look like Eddie is going anywhere.

Is anyone leaving 911 in Season 6?

So, what about the other characters? Based on the promo for the rest of the season, Chimney is the one we worry the most about. He’s in the car when a drunk driver steals it and goes on a bit of a joy ride. We’re sure that’s going to turn out fine, but poor Chimney!

There’s also a moment where Athena has someone pointing a gun at her. And there’s police at the house by the looks of things. It’s not clear what the evidence is, but Athena wants to know what’s going on. We don’t get to see the answer from Bobby. Is it possible that it’s linked to May?

Out of all the characters, May is the one I’m most worried about. She’s gone off to college and it doesn’t look like we’ll lose her completely. However, we may see less of her, and is it possible that something could go wrong at college?

As of right now, nobody is confirmed to be leaving 911. That’s what we needed to know.
