How Much Does an Heirloom Cost?

In general, Heirlooms can not be bought with Apex Coins, Crafting Materials, or Legend Tokens. You can buy Heirlooms only with Heirloom Shards or by collecting all 24 items from the Collection Event that Respawn releases every Season. However, you can only unlock specific Heirlooms from the Collection Events.

To get any Heirloom of your liking, you need to get the Heirloom Shards by opening packs. Each Heirloom costs 150 Heirloom Shards. Apex Legends guarantees you an Heirloom in every 500 packs. So, in theory, you need to spend close to $500 USD to get a guaranteed Heirloom. However, with effort, you can unlock your favorite Heirloom completely for free!

How To Get a Free Heirloom?

Before Season 14, getting a guaranteed Heirloom without spending money on Apex Legends was almost impossible. However, starting from Season 14, Respawn increased the level cap to a maximum of 2000. Players can basically reach Level 500 up to 4 times from Season 14.

This means more Apex Packs for everyone! From levels 1-500, players could get exactly 199 Apex Packs. As a result, there was no way for players to get free Heirloom just by playing. However, because of the Level Cap increase, Respawn will now provide additional 345 Apex Packs to everyone reaching the maximum level.

So from now on, every Apex Legend player can get a free Heirloom by reaching 2000 Levels and getting 544 free Apex Packs. However, reaching to maximum level will not be a piece of cake. Players need to grind, earn a huge amount of XP, and level up in order to get their shiny Heirloom.

Battle Passes also provide you with extra Apex Legends Packs in every Season. Every Battle Pass usually rewards you with 12-15 free Apex Packs. XP Required For Leveling Up to Level 2000

You need to earn XPs to level up faster in Apex Legends. With 1500 additional levels being added to the game, it will take more than just playing and leveling up your account, especially if you want to earn your desired Heirloom.

There are multiple ways how you can gain XP in the game. However, some factors are more efficient for XP gaining than others. Surviving longer in BR mode, winning matches, and getting top finishes can gain you a tremendous amount of XP.
