Mitsuri Kanroji easily gets along with other members of the Corps due to her friendly and loveable nature, but her interest was all in the Obanai Iguro, the Snake Hashira. It’s no secret that he has a big crush on Mitsuri as well. They have been exchanging gifts and letters (of admiration and love).

Unfortunately, they never officially got together. They confessed to each other during the fight against Muzan but they were killed while battling the Demon Lord. It was a heartbreaking moment for fans of the series when she asked to be his wife forever if reincarnation exists.

After successively fighting the upper-ranked demons, everyone was drained, and Mitsuri wasn’t an exception. Besides, Muzan is a force to be reckoned with, his attacks landed on Mitsuri and injured her badly enough to eliminate her from the battle.

Quickly, Obanai got them both away from the scene. Even with all the wounds she took, Mitsuri wanted to keep fighting and protecting everyone else. Seeing how beaten up Obanai was, she apologized to him for not helping much and let her memories take over before she promised an afterlife with Obanai and released her last breath.
