Steps
Use Find My iPhone (Find My iPhone)
- If you’re not signed in, you can choose Sign in to (Your Device ), enter your Apple ID and password, and then select Sign In.
- If you’re using an older version of iOS, you may not need to do this step.
- If it’s an app on someone else’s device, you’ll have to select Sign Out in the upper-right corner of the app screen to sign in with your Apple ID.

- Enter the phone unlock code. Use a random code that has nothing to do with you: no ID number, no date of birth, no license plate or any other personal information.
- Send a message and contact phone number as this will be displayed on the iPhone screen.

- If your phone is turned off the network, it will be locked immediately while the battery is still available. You will receive an email notification and be able to find the location of your phone.
