How to Get Microsoft Excel

Open the free trial version of Office page. Go to https://products.office.com/en-us/try using a web browser on your computer. You can use Excel for free for a month if you download the Office 365 trial.

Click TRY 1-MONTH FREE (1-Month Trial Free). This option is on the left side of the page.

Sign in with your Microsoft account when prompted. Enter your email address and password to log in.

• If you’ve recently used a Microsoft account, you may be automatically signed in.

Click Next . This option is near the bottom of the page.

Select a payment method. Click Credit card or debit card to add card information, or choose another method (such as PayPal ) from within the “Pick a payment method” section.

• Although Microsoft doesn’t bill Office 365 right away, you will be billed for 1 year of Office 365 after the 1 month trial ends.

Enter payment information. Fill in the payment information for the method of your choice. If you choose a card, add your billing address, card number, expiration date, and more.

• If you choose a payment method other than a bank card, you’ll need to follow the on-screen instructions to add more information.

Scroll down and click Next located at the bottom of the page. You will be redirected to the dashboard.

• If you’re using a payment method other than a card, you may need to enter your billing information, then click Next to continue.

Click the Subscribe button at the bottom of the page. You will be redirected to your account’s “Office” page after this step.

Download and install Office 365 by:

• Click Install > on the left side of the page.
• Click Install on the right side of the page.
• Double-click the downloaded Office 365 installation file.
• Follow the installation instructions that appear on the screen.

Cancel the trial before being charged. If you don’t want to be billed for a year of Office 365 after the 1-month trial ends, you can:

• Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and sign in if prompted.
• Scroll down and click Payment & billing located below the “Office 365” heading.
• Click Cancel on the right side of the page.
• Click Confirm cancellation when prompted.

Open

App Store on iPhone. Tap the App Store app with the white “A” icon on a light blue background.

Click Search . This option has a magnifying glass icon and is located in the lower right corner of the screen.

Tap the search bar at the top of the screen. The virtual keyboard on the iPhone will appear.

Find Excel. Enter excel and then click excel in the list of search results. You will go to the Excel page.

Click GET (Get) located to the right of the Excel icon.

Enter the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Scan your fingerprint to confirm the decision. Microsoft Excel will start downloading.

• If your iPhone doesn’t support a fingerprint sensor (or if the App Store hasn’t set up Touch ID yet), you’ll need to enter your Apple ID password when prompted.

Open

Google Play Store on Android. Tap the Play Store app with the multicolored triangle icon on a white background.

Tap the search bar at the top of the screen. The Android virtual keyboard will appear.

• If the Google Play Store opens any tab other than the GAMES tab, you’ll need to first tap GAMES near the top of the screen, then tap the search bar.

Open the Excel sheet. Type excel and then click Microsoft Excel from the resulting drop-down menu (next to the white and green Excel icon). The Microsoft Excel page opens.
