Almost every child wants to grow up, even some adults do. Unfortunately there is no way to increase height quickly. If you are young, you need to be patient; If you’re an adult, you’ll just wish you didn’t start getting shorter too soon! Learn ways to track your height and see if you’re growing.

Monitor body growth
- Shorter pants are a clear sign that you are growing taller. If the jeans you used to have to roll up on are now short and look like you’re preparing for a flood, it’s time to measure your height (and buy some new pants, too).
- Enlarged feet are also another sign of growth. Your feet are your support just like the roots that keep a tree upright, so it’s not surprising that the size of your feet always corresponds to a person’s height.
- Usually, you can use an immovable object like the bottom edge of a wall sign, the ceiling of your treehouse in front of your house, or someone who isn’t as tall as your dad as a reference point. The closer you get to the point where the sign is at eye level, your head is about to hit the ceiling or your dad’s shoulder, the taller you are.

- As noted above, stretching is also good for the body, but stretching exercises that promise to make you taller forever won’t have long-term effects. You should focus on health and fitness and let your body grow naturally (within the genetics allows).

- Measure your height carefully in the same position each time. You may not notice much change, so measure carefully for better accuracy.
- For more accuracy, you should measure at the same medical facility each time you measure your height.
- Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see much change. Enjoy life regardless of height.
- Don’t panic if you’re half a meter taller than your peers, because everyone’s growth rate is different.
