This wikiHow teaches you different ways to copy and paste in Minecraft. As long as you’re hosting or an operator on your own Minecraft server, and have the WorldEdit plug-in installed, you’ll be able to copy and paste buildings in one or all of the worlds. “/clone <x1> <y1> <z1> <x2> <y2> <z2> <x> <y> <z>” (except quotes). Remember to substitute the previous set of coordinates that you specified in the command.
- Note: do not include curly braces in the command, and separate coordinates by distance.
- Or, you can also type
/cloneand then press the Tab key to insert the coordinates of the opposite block, then press Enter to send the command.- An error message that the command is incomplete will be returned, but don’t worry because you are still in the process of copying. Go to the block in the opposite corner of the building, then open the chat box and press the up arrow (UP) button to complete the command (with the coordinates of that block).
