This article will show you how to get your Facebook account back after the bad guys have gained access. The easiest way to do this is to change your password. If you can’t change your password, you can report to Facebook that your account has been compromised.

Get the account code. Depending on the selected recovery method, the process will be different:

By email – Open your email inbox, search for Facebook messages, and write down the six-digit code in the subject line.
Via SMS – Open your phone’s messages , search for new messages from the five- or six-digit phone number, then search for the six-digit code in the text message.

Make sure that it is not too long from receiving the code to entering it, otherwise the code will become invalid.
