How to Change Date and Time on iPhone

Knowing the date and time is crucial to staying on schedule. Today, we rely heavily on smartphones to keep up with our schedules. However, what do you do when the date and time on your smartphone is not automatically set or is not running correctly? The answer is simple: reinstall yourself! This is super easy and won’t take much of your time.

Tap “Date & Time”. This button is located towards the bottom half of the General menu.

Swipe the automatic date and time switch to the left. By default, iPhone sets the date and time automatically via Wi-Fi or a cellular data connection. When this feature is off, you will be able to dynamically change the time zone, date, and time.

Tap the adjustment bar next to the “Set Automatically” option to set the date and time manually.

Select time zone. Once you’ve turned off automatic date and time, you can change the time zone. Tap “Time Zone” and enter the location with the time you want to select.

Change date and time. The date and time will appear below the current time zone.

Tap the date and time. The parameters will appear below the time zone after you turn off the “Set Automatically” option.
Swipe each column with your finger to change the date and time. A scroll wheel will appear for you to change the date and time respectively.
If the year is incorrect, rotate the month wheel to the current year.

Swipe down from the top of the screen. The notification center opens so you can see your notifications, current date, and calendar events.

Tap Today. You will be able to see the date and time and also the weather. It is done! If the date and time are still incorrect, reopen the Date & Time section in General settings and adjust accordingly.
