What is Korean New Year?
In folklore, the real Han New Year is also known as the Banh Floating Festival – vegetarian cake (“Han real” means “cold food”) , which is held on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month. Han Thuc Tet appears mainly in China and Vietnam.

So, he went home and took his mother to Dien Son mountain to hide . Tan Van Cong later remembered, sent someone to find Tu Thoi. Unexpectedly , Tu Thoi was determined, mother and daughter both died in the forest.
The king was heartbroken and merciful, so he set up a shrine and ordered the folk to abstain from burning fire for three days, eating only cold cooked food in memory of Gioi Tu Thoi.
