Fermenting Beer with the Catalyst
Post-Primary Fermentation
Close the valve, detach the jar containing sediment. Screw on a smaller jar for secondary fermentation and open valve.
Secondary Fermentation & Aging
Close the valve, detach the jar containing sediment and discard.
Prime Your Beer
Add sugar and stir.
Bottling
Screw on the bottling attachment along with the transfer tubing and open the valve to begin.

“DOUBLE IPA ANTICIPATION”
Just finished my first brew with your system and it couldn’t have been easier! Started with a double IPA and after the first week the trap was loaded with sediment which will give me more beer in the end! Have a few more weeks before drinkable but I’m already for the next batch!!! Great design!

“GREAT SYSTEM!”
We recently purchased the 5-gallon starter kit which included the Catalyst fermentation system. I had once tried home brewing using carboys and buckets, and I found this system to be way easier (and cooler!) to make our first batch of beer. “SIMPLISTICALLY GENIUS”
This catalyst system with it’s one container design is amazing. The recipe kit that it comes with was so easy to follow. I was nervous, so I started with a one-gallon Milk Chocolate Stout, and it turned out excellent! Glad I started small, learned a few things that I am eager to try on my next 5 gallon Bone Dry Stout! This is easy to follow, and hard to mess up. I cannot say enough for the Craft-a-Brew support too, very helpful! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get into brewing at home. Fairly certain I have found my new way to enjoy beer.

“GREAT SYSTEM FOR EASY HOMEBREW”
